farkwar
Beautiful animal. Dangerous to gorgonians. All the literature I can find state that it EXCLUSIVELY eats gorgonians. I almost bought a bunch of gorgonians just to feed this wonderful animal. But wait, what's she doing? Um, she's eating my GSP. So, if you have a GSP problem or you want to keep one if these lovlies, you know what to look for. I think it should be called a Leopard Snail, myself. Ive never seen a flamingo's tongue so what do I know. Link to comment

IME, gorgonians do not do well when exposed to air, GSP however has no problem with air exposure. Link to comment

The first piece regenerates(or stops being pissed) and then extends polyps. She concentrates on the mat, leaving the star polyps intact. Link to comment

farkwar
Clarification, not my photo. My snail looks just like it. Sorry if there was any confusion about that. Link to comment
Lynaea
It's great it's eating something that grows so fast rather than expensive gorgs If you do decide to get some gorgs I would try another vendor, they did not package mine in a way that was consistent with them surviving the 24 hour shipping and they were pretty small. KPAquatics is a good alternative. Link to comment
