Barnacle Posted July 4, 2014 Share Posted July 4, 2014 I've been looking for a fan that will work with my nano reef, made for aquariums or otherwise. Can anyone recommend a particular model that works well? Preferably something that can attach to the rim of the tank. Thank you. Link to comment
Dramad1 Posted July 4, 2014 Share Posted July 4, 2014 Jabeo. I have two and they work excellent. Also, they come in various sizes, 2 fan, 4 fan, 6 fan. Fairly quiet. When running a fan on the aquarium, you will double the evap so frequent top offs will be important to keep the system stable. Link to comment
colbymj Posted July 6, 2014 Share Posted July 6, 2014 I took an old PC fan and wired it to an old cell phone charger. I then zip tied the fan to the maxspect razor leg on one side. It does the job and is very cheap to pull off. It is black and pretty small so looking straight on at the tank you can't even really notice it, and it makes no sound. Link to comment
