saltyphish68
I have a 29 gallon biocube that I am planning on upgrading the lights to leds for sps and lps corals. I am trying to decide between 2 different retrofit kits that install in the hood. Yes I want to keep the hood. Both kits are from rapidleds and are full spectrum this is the first kit http://www.rapidled.com/coralife-biocube-29-dimmable-retrofit-kit/. If I chose this light I would get the full spectrum light option. The second light is http://www.rapidled.com/copy-of-oceanic-biocube-29-dimmable-retrofit-aurora-puck-kit/. What is your opinion. Anyone have a different setup they would suggest. Please give me some feedback. Thanks Link to comment
Dramad1
Dave at nanobox does hood retrofits but you would have to send your hood into him. Imo a better retro than the one you have posted. If interested, send him an email Link to comment
DaveFason
Thanks Drama! I have a kit for tho hood for $335 and includes a Storm controller. The kit is 95% finished and simply needs to be bolted to hood, drivers screwed down and run the wires out the back. You do not need to send the hood to me. Hope this helps! -Dave Link to comment
