Not sure exactly what this to try to identify myself and i have spent time searching the site and others of course. its about 1cm long and you can see a light brown in colour. any ideas are very welcomed. and of course is it good or bad for the tank Thanks Mark Link to comment

Havok_9 Posted May 31, 2014 Share Posted May 31, 2014 Peppermint shrimp! Surely not everyones favorite method, but It's my personal fave. Let the little suckers eat em up. They do a much better job finding every last aiptasia in the nooks and crannies of the rocks than us clumsy humans. However, when the aiptasia is gone, make sure to throw them some food so they dont get hungry for coral. I've have 3 or 4 peps and have always had great luck with them, never had them go after anything, but had read some individuals have a potential to do so. You could always catch and sell him, but I like keeping a pep shrimp in the tank just to be on duty. Link to comment
