Zoa morphing

I had a single polyp close up for a couple days then change color. Can someone tell me why and how zoas morph or is it just a random act of nature?

I think is random act of nature, I had a few fire and ice ZOA's go from blue centers with red skirts to purple centers with yellow skirts really weird but they look nice and their just as pissy as the regular fire and ice.

 

And more recently I've had this lobo I've had for 2 years that was a dark purple start turning blue around it mouths and got a nice green around the outer edge

Random act of nature. There's a guy on here who got green on his red monti cap and would frag it to encourage the growth of the green...I can't remember his user name though. It was interesting to hear him talk about it. And then Gena (current TOTM) had some of her nuclear palys develop bright purple spots the same color as her purple deaths.
