Hey Fellas,

I have been reefing since past 10+ years but mostly 100G + aquariums. Due to space constraints i had to migrate recently to a nano setup.

Its a 18x24x18 inch tank out of which the back sump takes away the 6 inches space making the display area 18 Cube

Setup details -

Extra Glass tank custom made with back sump with 3 compartments. First one holding my Fluval PS1 skimmer and a ceramic bag, second compartment holds the filter with ceramic and sponge (turn it on for couple hours after i do the NTM mode on Vortech), Chaeto with 4 x 3W 660nm LEDs and the final compartment has the 560 lph return pump.

The display area has a Vortech MP 10and return hose for the circulation. For lights i have a Maxspect Razor 60W. Around 10 kgs Live Rocks and a bad of live sand.

Livestocks

7 Turbo snails

1 Yash Goby

1 Yellow Clown Goby

3 Purple Firefish

Corals

Purple Gorgonian

Cestipularia (Blue Xenia)

Red Gonio

Strawberry Carnation

Clove Polyps

Green star polyps

mushrooms

Frag of Green Nepthea

Purple tip acropora

Montipora

Zoas

Thinking to add a rare delicate fish which swims all over constantly...Any suggestions? I had Orchid Dotty OR Helfrichi in mind..

Any other suggestions on Corals?

Hi,

I have an 18" cube that I'd like to set up again and I'm leaning toward this light. Have you taken any PAR readings?

I am mainly concerned about being able to keep coral with higher light requirements, although it looks like you've got a wide array of items. Have you experienced any issues with this light for this size tank?

I think its a tad too bright for my 18 Cube. The PAR readouts are available online if you need it. Till now i have not experienced any issues. All doing well :)

What are you running the light at? I thought this fixture was dimmable. Also, which color option did you go with, 16k?

I mean too bright when I put it at 100% on both channels

Of course it's dimmable.

I have set it up on a dawn to dusk mode.
