FS: AC70, T5 fixture, MH lights, and ice probe chiller (thread resurrected)

Hey reefers,

 

Up for sale I have some items for sale as I recently upgraded to a 30 gallon Nuvo tank. Anyway here's what I got.

 

Micro-reefs 8 gallon acrylic shallow tank (24inches long, 10 inches wide and 8 inches in height) I believe Michael (my brother) doesn't sell these anymore as they used to be made from another source before moving into making tanks himself. The tank itself is 1 year old, has light scratches from cleaning. I only used the two fishies magnet cleaner, but from pictures you can see it's in great shape nevertheless.

I also have an AC70 that I was using with it, modded (just cut top lid) to accommodate iceprobe chiller, which I'm also selling with it. The down pipe was also cut to allow it to fit inside, which basically works with the magnet overflow skimmer box from badfish, which is selling as well.

same age, about a year old. AC70 works fine, iceprobe chiller works great, always kept my tank at 77 degrees like a champ, and overflow skimmer kept the surface scum away and left the nice clear water on top.

For lights I have 24" long ZooMed T5 light fixture, with two 24watt bulbs. One 10K daylight and one actinic. As they have been running for 1 year, the bulbs needs to be changed. I'm including mine to show it's functional, but be sure to throw them out and buy new ones as you don't want undesirable algae growing as a result.

I live in California, Orange County area, I prefer local pickup for tank/lights as I wouldn't want any damage in shipping, but I can ship smaller stuff to the Continental US (48states) as I do have boxes for them. If you have a strong interest for the bigger items like tank/lights, I'll just need to get proper boxes, and packed well to ensure it comes over okay.

 

oh yeah one last item! - is Aqualight 150watt metal Halide clamp on light. This one I got from my brother some years back, it stayed in my garage as I never ended up using them. My brother used them over a bucket with live rock, and when he had no longer use for them we had planned to use them on a setup that I never ended up making, so again it just sat in my garage. I took them out for the very first time, and I see it's still packed in nicely, and I removed the light and plugged it in and tested it....wow what a blast! It's got a 14K light in there, and has a fan too that helps cool the beast. It had some salt creep at most which I wiped off some, but that is it. So what you see is what you get, I really don't know much more about the light as I never used them, just need to rid them as my wife is getting on me for stuff in the garage I never used, lol.

 

Looking it up I see new goes for about 279. I'll sell for $200. Now $150

Again the unit looks sharp and light use, with just salt creep at most from what I saw from when it was running for Mike and his cycling of his rocks. The who thing weights quite a bit, almost 15lbs, so again it looks like something more worth picking up locally as it may be pricey to ship and also I wouldn't want it damaged in shipping. haha, thanks, yeah I see that! You may need to start making those so you can put it back up on your site! Anyway, I answered back to PMs. Also to add, if for anything I'd have to ship if not local, I only deal with paypal for payment. For local people meeting up, cash or paypal works, whichever of the two.

Yeah, you can always rig your own thing since it's acrylic to your liking, but to get it going, the things I have for sale get it up and running with temperature controlled. excellent lil chiller :)

 

Anyway guys, I been answering a lot of shipping inquiries and a lot range between 10 to 20ish dollars. small stuff even as small as the surface skimmer is about 10 bucks to ship, and tank is around 18 to 20. Just to give an idea, it's the weight more or less driving it for bigger stuff, but for light stuff it seems like 10 bucks. So keep that in mind.

price update on Metal Halide: slashed down to $150 + cost to ship Let me know.

 

tank, surface skimmer, and ac70 pending possible sale. Still waiting back to confirm.

 

Also T5 fixture still available.
