Signmom99
I remember a link that went to a calculator that helped figure the dimensions to gallons or visa versa. Need that link quick. I have an opportunity to obtain a 200-300 gallon tank complete with stand, hood, filter, everything. Best of all - IT'S FREE!!! But I need to know how big a tank that size would be. Please help if you remember any sites that will help me do the conversion. Thank you. Link to comment

SLOreefer
dude really a tank that size could be any number of different dimensions. if it is a standard tank it is going to be either 6 or 8 feet long and about 18inches up to two feet deep and about the same high. it all depends on the specific tank as every tank really comes in a bunch of different shapes. so plan on it being at least 6 feet long and probably at most 8 feet. although some do get as long as 10 feet but not common.
