Response back from Tech:

"Yes, any straight pin lamp that is 55w or 65w would work just fine in that Red Sea Max setup. 55w and 65w pc lamps are completely interchangeable."

Another question....I started a zoa frag tank and bought a 4 bulb 24" fixture, and it comes with 2x 10k bulbs and 2x blue bulbs.

Would it be OK to replace these with 2x 24W Korallen-zucht T5 Coral Light and 2x 24w Korallen-zucht Coral Light Super Blue, or should I substitute some kind of purple for one of the Coral Lights?

Since it's a frag tank, I'm more concerned with growth/health than appearance.

Thanks!!!!

If you're truly interested in growth over appearance, I would recommend 3 of the coral, and one of the super blue. True growth comes from the lower yellow-white colors. Blue contributes some to growth, some to coloration. Purple has nothing to do with growth, and everything to do with coloration. So - for rampant growth, go LOW with spectrum. Put the blue lamp closest to the front of the tank, and you'll be viewing your corals through a curtain of blue light. That will help their appearance to your naked eye without sacrificing any potential growth to achieve it.
