Do you think it has any limitations as far as what corals it can grow? 1 Quote Link to comment

They are very helpful . They are a sponsor here as well. You could ask them on their sponsor thread or contact them through their website. Quote Link to comment

evanski
Nice brother, and a good start. You DEFINITELY need a light as suggested to get good growth and color...you will not regret it. What are you doing with the AC70? Fuge? InTank media basket? Media choices? Keep an eye on the Pico section. There are lots of nice tanks and you can really get some good ideas, feedback, and help there. Good luck! 2 Quote Link to comment

Merthynia
Yup...done it myself. Fab is the master. What are you using for media/fuge/lights? I only have filter floss in there right now since this is only the second day I've had it up and going. My plans are to use the stock light to grow chaeto in the fuge once I have upgraded my tank light. I'm also a big fan of Chemipure elite and filter floss. Do you have other suggestions? spazizz
You can grow any thing with it. I had one over a 5.5g, you can grow higher light stuff in the center of the tank and lower light corals in the edges. It really colored up my sps and has a great overall color. I did a review on it, if you want to read more just visit product review section of the forum, it's still on the first page. My brother is super amazing! That light is more in my current price range. Do you think it has any limitations as far as what corals it can grow? 2 Quote Link to comment

evanski
CPE is good...I have purigen in addition to the requisite floss and my water is SPARKLY! 1 Quote Link to comment
Merthynia
CPE is good...I have purigen in addition to the requisite floss and my water is SPARKLY! I like it! Do you have them arranged in any particular order in your fuge? 1 Quote Link to comment
evanski
CPE then Purigen in that order in the flow through my media rack...but the order is arbitrary. This is all after filter floss of course. 1 Quote Link to comment
thurrmac
hmmm CPE then purigen... why not just CPE? i mean both products serve same purpose with CPE slightly ahead because it has ferric oxide. 2 Quote Link to comment

Merthynia
Okay, for a short update. Two days ago all the parameters hit zero, one big water change later and I'm ready for life! Today happened to be my birthday. I moved two small mushrooms over to the tank and a tiny hermit crab. After going out to celebrate with my brother for the birthday, he shows up with a small treasure for my tank! A Skunk cleaner! 1 Quote Link to comment
