Zero Reef Aquarium

Hello, I am not sure if this is the category of my project. So, if needed move it. I am planning to set up a zero reef tank. I have a 20 l tank and two filters which i use now in my 100 l freshwater tank. I have one suspended filter and one internal. They are both with capacity for 100 l tank ( around 200 l/h each).Which is better for the tank? Will i need circulation pump? What type of heater and lamp can you recommend me? What type of coral can i keep? I've been keeping my freshwater tank for 5 years and more. So, that's going to be my first marine tank.

If i decide to make a pico reef. Should i use only live sand and live rocks or i can buy normal coral sand and some porous rocks? Also, Is the protein skimmer always required ?
