plainrt
Ok I have a 24x24x12 Sps tank and right now have a mp40 on it and can't run it past 30 percent without having crazy undertow that beats smit out if any Lps in my sand bed. Am I better off using a mp10 instead ? And if needed add another mp10 later as it fills in? I just feel the mp40s have massive under tow. Link to comment
Rehype
I had (2) mp10s on a similar build...created very dynamic flow. Link to comment
BeardedReeferLLC
Correct. An Mp10 is your better option here with a second added on later. Link to comment
Arkayology
I have both an mp40 and mp10 on my 24x24x16 tank. I have also use x2 mp10s on a 24x24x24. I have the mp40 turned down to 20% on my current tank because otherwise I will get a sandstorm, but 2 mp10s worked well on the 60g cube. I only bought it because it was a steal. So basically I would how with 2 mp10s unless you think you want to upgrade to a bigger tank in the not so distant future. Link to comment
plainrt
Yeah that's what I'm thinking. The 40 is just too much. If I upgrade it will be nothing crazy big so I think time to part ways with the 40. Thanks peoples Link to comment

flypenfly
I used to like it but now I only put my vortechs on back glass. Having a wired tumor stick out of the side of your tank looks horrible. Link to comment
