grmoore Posted December 30, 2013 Share Posted December 30, 2013 Commonly called cotton candy. At best, you can pull the Botryocladia out and pick off the epiphyte algae. At worst, toss the affected plants and replace them. Link to comment

drunkenmonk21 Posted December 31, 2013 Share Posted December 31, 2013 This stuff can be really hard to get rid of, the tiniest piece that survives will grow on. I had it in my 55g a long time ago it slowly disapeared on its own somehow lol. By slowly i mean over a year. Link to comment
