Hi, I'm new to this hobby, so any advice would be appreciated! :)

I built my 4 gallon tank around half a year ago. right now I'm thinking about upgrading to a bigger tank, so I want to document my pico tank here before I move everything over.

Spec:

Cadlight 4 gallon all-in-one

dimmable blue and white LED

Dymax iq skimmer

Rio 50 as return pump

Rio 70 as power head

some filter pads

That's pretty much it.

Livestock:

I got a ORA picasso clownfish, who is hosting the rose bubble tip anemone, a cleaner shrimp, a clam, and a red starfish. the clam and the starfish didn't make it...

As for my corals, I have a monti cap, mandarin setosa monti, watermelon chalice, acan, duncan polyps, blasto, blue rihno zoa, some mushrooms.

Hope you enjoy! and Merry Xmas to you all.

How is your clam doing in such a small tank. Just curious as I would be scared sh....less to try one in my 8g pico. But it would not be the first time I pulled a trigger on uneducated and impulse driven purchase. Great lookn pico btw. I will peek in from time to time.

my clam was doing great for couple months and then one day it just died...I think it was because something died in my tank at that time and I didn't take it out. the clam died from it and the anemone bleached, but the anemone got better now after some water change and feeding.

Nice tank If your going to a bigger tank stay with leds I upgraded to tru lumen in my biocube 15 color is great!

thanks! I just got the innovative marine nuvo 16, the tank is cycling now.

LOL, once you start you can't stop. Welcome to hobby! You must be skilled for starting the salt game with such a small tank, but it looks great! I started my 5.5 over a year ago and I love it more than my big tank, so if you got any questions just get at me. I'm curious, how do your chalices do with your nem in a tank that size? Oh yeah...I don't post much, but you can check out my system here.

Yeah, it is one of those things. Happens to everyone. It will only get better tho.

16IM, 24IM or 30IM cube was/still is on my short list of tanks for my living room.

I will follow your baby steps and what you will do with that IM16.
