chswkt
chswkt's WildFire CAD lights SR For my 4th reef tank, I've set out to do the ultimate shallow reef. I will only add the rarest and most colorful corals, most of which I've accumulated in my other tanks. I seriously considered the IM Nuvo SR60, but after careful thought and months of planning and anticipation, I've decided to go with the CAD lights shallow reef system. It comes with a cabinet, protien skimmer, sump, fuge light, glass covers, and pump. In addition, it's less than half of the price. This was some browned out wild caught acro I got for free years ago at my buddy Gonzo's house. The picture does not do it justice (center). It has green polyps, purple tips, ice blue branches. By far the best acro in my collection. My mother colony is in my 90 gallon. BoricuaNY
Looks Awesome! How do you like the tank? and did you go with their stand or use something else? I'm debating on getting one, but might skip the stand and just make my own. Link to comment
chswkt
Thanks! This tank came with almost everything including the stand. The doors weren't quite designed properly so I had to make some modifications with a dremmel; the doors wouldn't shut flush so I had to enlarge the notches where the hinges go. I let CadLights know and hopefully they've fixed it. The only hardware I had to buy for the tank were: MP10 Main light (I'm using a Maxspect Razor) Heaters JBJ ATO system BRS 3 part dosing system Reefkeeper Lite I'll post an update soon. The tank is looking amazing. I haven't moved the anemone yet because I want to give some time for my acros to grow out. Looks Awesome! How do you like the tank? and did you go with their stand or use something else? I'm debating on getting one, but might skip the stand and just make my own. Link to comment
