Islandoftiki
Here's about a half day worth of tank activity condensed down into less than 5 minutes... 3 Quote Link to comment

FlowerMama
Ha, well, we know which one is the harder worker. Betty at least really tried removing hers and was very acrobatic. Chuck was like, just give me the darn thing- little effort. Funny seeing the differences between them. Quote Link to comment

Islandoftiki
Betty went on a rearranging spree last night and some frags had to be put back. Some people have wondered how I work in the tank. This is one of the ways. It's quite clumsy and difficult though. It's easier just to use your hands since she really isn't bothered by the sight of hands in the tank. The claw tool is another story. She does not like the claw. 3 Quote Link to comment
FlowerMama
I love how she's so attentive, watching to see what you're doing, she hits it here n' there to say she doesn't approve I guess. More work for her to do. 1 Quote Link to comment
Islandoftiki
Cool sponge in the back of this tank, it is developing both a finger and a plating growth pattern. 2 Quote Link to comment

Islandoftiki
i really like that cool blue one. Looks relaxing. I think you're talking about the green plating montipora with blue polyps? I just got that from a friend. It's going to be amazing when it grows out. I have three different frags of it in there. I didn't even realize the blue spots on it were polyps until I did the macro picture. 1 Quote Link to comment

Islandoftiki
It's drawing practice for people on Reddit. Subreddit: /r/redditgetsdrawn/ You post pictures of yourself and or say, your pet and ask people to draw your subject. If they want to, they will. This guy was kind enough to take on a challenge that he was unfamiliar with and did an amazing job, IMO. Here's all he had to work with: 3 Quote Link to comment

jedimasterben
That photo of you is badass. Not many people can go golfing with a hockey stick, an egg beater, and a fishing pole and still have a smile on their face. 1 Quote Link to comment

Dude, I have a martini in my hand and a Japanese shirt that says, "Sake Bito" which means, I like alcohol. You forgot about the claw hammer club, the plastic sword, the Chuck-it, and the most important thing, ice and cocktails dispensed from the bag. I'm currently working on a new club for next season that will have multiple fans on it. It will be my... wait for it... Fan club! We call this Urban Golf, and it's a pretty big event worldwide. Ok, I won't keep you waiting... 1 Quote Link to comment

FlowerMama
Were you just curious to see if she'd do it? and how it would feel? Now it could have been different if it was the pad side. Do you think she gave it her all? (I don't think she did- she luuuuvs you) Glad she didn't tear ya up. Mad Mantis Martini time! 1 Quote Link to comment

I have to think she can hit a lot harder than this. I think this was an exploratory strike out of curiosity about what my hands are made of. She hit the fingernail, so she probably thinks they're armored similar to her shell. If she had hit the soft part of my skin, I would imagine it would hurt even less. Not that it hurt per se. I think we all hurt ourselves more than this on a daily basis. There's no question that she was curious about my hands and wanted to explore them more. I'm sure that would have included whacking them a few more times to figure them out. 1 Quote Link to comment
