Boneshaker
Punk Rocker Palys, photo bombed by my Royal Blue Tuxedo Urchin. Purple Mushroom. Tiny little bugger. Euphyllia Hammer Coral. I think I'm going to mount it on the stub of rock that is just to the left and down from where the Hammer is temporarily positioned. Closer view to the area I'm planning on moving the Hammer Coral to, the pinot just below the clown. I really don't have a localtion lower in the tank where I can put the Hammer, so that is why I've decided on this location. A couple other things - I glued two Zoa Domes onto Captain Salty's magnetic frag plugs. On one I glued a pair of 24K zoa polyps, and the other has 3 tiny Orange Bam Bam zoa polyps. Ugh.... all the scratches. Link to comment

Cameron6796
Looking fuller and fuller, you may want to frag down the skeleton on that hammer coral a bit, it will just look nicer Link to comment
Boneshaker
Looking fuller and fuller, you may want to frag down the skeleton on that hammer coral a bit, it will just look nicer I did cut it down about 3/4" so far. I'm hoping the Zoas will grow up around the base in that corner. Link to comment

Boneshaker
looking good. nice job be careful with those yellow button. they'll take over the tank Thanks. I've heard that about the button polyps. That's one reason I have them on their own rocks, although there are a few Zoas growing on that rock under the left Hydor Flo. The other rock they are on is hiding behind the left side of the high arch. I should frag some off in the near future, to grow in my Oceanic 30 Gallon Cube. Link to comment
Boneshaker
Scored a small frag of Blue Hornets today. I should turn it just a little, I thought there were 6 polyps on it. You can only see 5 here. Little fellas were still unhappy from the iodine dip and RO dip prior to adding them to my tank. Link to comment
Boneshaker
OK... so my Green Paly colony is getting huge, so earlier today while I was treating a couple aiptasia in my Oceanic 30 Gallon Cube, with Aiptaisia X, I decided to experiment on some of the Green Palys. I hit more than a dozen polyps, and about 5-6 were pretty large polyps. The Green Paly colony is pretty much maxed out as to how many I care to have in my display. I'd rather not tear them out polyp by polyp, along with scraping away leftover flesh, so I thought I'd give it a try. Hopefully I don't have any big problems after trying this experiment. lilmatty5dimes
i've got some sad news scraping them won't really help unless you get all the tissue off. i've seen them grow from a lil piece. i would try and find a replacement rock you can put in there. Link to comment
