When I bought the rock, the palys had a brown were really brown looking. I'm glad they've turned green, instead of staying the dirty brown that they looked like when I first got it. Link to comment

This colony started out with 6 polyps. My 24K's started out as 5-6 Polyps. Grumpy keeping watch over one of their tunnels. Mixed Zoa frag that I need to glue down at some point. I thought maybe the Pistol Shrimp took it out a while back, and as I was looking my tank over today, I saw what looked like a leg from the Pom Pom Crab between two rocks. Turns out the little bugger has found itself a nice little cave to hide out in. Link to comment

Disc at the bottom here is GSP that I transferred over from my Oceanic 30 Gallon. My GSP in this pic isn't happy that I moved it to a different location. It'll be happy by tomorrow. My green Paly colony is HUGE now ! Moved my 'Shroom rock over from my Oceanic 30 Gallon. I started with one Green Stripe and one Florida Orange Ricordia. Now there are 3 Green w/ 5 tiny ones & 3 Florida Orange and one baby one. Link to comment

Should bring the main focus back to my rock structure and corals.Last week I picked up a Top Fin Multi-Purpose Aquarium Cleaning Tool for $10 at Petsmart. BEST SCRAPER EVER for the Nuvo, and my Oceanic 30 too for that matter. Link to comment

You can really see the scratches in the glass from the kid that owned this tank before me. On the bright side, I think it really draws your attention back to the live rock, corals & livestock. SOMEBODY scored a Kessil A150W SKy Blue off Craigslist today for $125 with the goose neck mount ! Won't be able to put it on the tank unitl tomorrow. Darn night shifts. Link to comment

Take off the 2 Skkye LEDs and the Eheim Marine PowerLED... put on the Kessil A50 Sky Blue and possibly using my 12" Ecoxotic Blue/Magenta Stunner for actinic accent and moon lighting, for about 1-2 hours before and 2-3 hours after the Kessil turns off. I'll be using separate timers on the Kessil and the Stunner. Thoughts...??? Link to comment

I haven't messed with my 12" Ecoxotic Blue/Magenta Stunner... yet. It is a little darker in the corners with the one Kessil, and there is also shadows coming off both Hydor Flo Rotating Water Deflectors. Another big plus besides it being a great LED light is... It takes me from 5 plugs down to one. Link to comment
Boneshaker Posted May 28, 2014 Author Share Posted May 28, 2014 My photo skill really don't do this justice but... This is with my Ecoxotic 12' Blue/Magenta Stunner with reflector. It's positioned centered about 3" from the false wall. Last night was the first time I've have that much light going in the evening. At the time I wished I had a 24" Stunner to cover the length of the tank. After one day running the Kessil A150W Sky Blue, I really think I'm gonna like it. I will be studying how long I can get away with having it on without algae blooms, or other problems. If I do decide to buy a 24" Blue/Magenta Stunner, I think I will also buy he inline dimmer to at least have some control over the Stunner. Link to comment

Mixed Eagle Eyes & Dragon Eyes frag on the left, Eagle Eyes on the right, and my tiny polyp Rastas below. Armor of God Palys... nicely closed at picture time This frag plug is the same as the zoas in the bottom pic. My mushroom rock Green Stripe & Florida Orange Ricordeas. 4 baby Green Stripe on the left. Can you spot the 4 baby Ricordeas on the rock...??? Yellow Button Polyps Reef Spot Reds Orange Bam Bams Misc Palys All these grew from the frag a few pics up. When I bought the frag, it had 6 polyps on it back on 7-10-13. Link to comment
