SBGRAD24
It's not the algae scraper that you have to worry about, it's getting sand stuck between the scraper and the acrylic that will ruin the look of your tank. I would advise against it Link to comment
NanoReefer53
Get a Mag-float from http://www.petwarehouse.com and but an acrylic scrubing pad. The mag-float is a very great cleaner. It floats so if it drops it floats back up to prevent sand getting into the pad. It also has a velcro pad on the inside to firmly hold on to the scrubber bad. I have it and i give it a 10/10. lizbeth
They make Mag Floats for acrylic now. I saw them at Jeff's a couple of weeks ago. I'm not sure where to order one from tho. Link to comment

Sahin
http://www.premiumaquatics.com/thestore/Al...aecleaners.html Scroll down and there is a algae scrapper thats safe to use on acrylic.. Link to comment
Christopher Marks
You'll have to be careful not to get anything stuck on it! Every magnent cleaner will work for acrylic. They all come with a velcrow like side for the one that goes into the tank, so for acrylic tanks you just attach an acrylic-safe pad to the velcrow part. Link to comment
