doppelganger Posted May 24, 2013 Share Posted May 24, 2013 I came across a nice small Lithophyllon frag the other day (quite rare around here) and decided to give it a try. I realize the care requirements are similar to plates but I'm curious about the growth pattern of it. I've heard it's encrusting but I've also heard plating. It's currently on a frag plug and hasn't reached the edges yet so I still have some time to figure out where it should go. Anyone have experience with these? If it hits the edge of the plug will it grow outwards off the plug or does it actually need to encrust on a rock? Quote Link to comment
