crx2ner
Will one of these be to much for the 29g? From what I read they have "wave interval" adjustments instead of overall power. But power can be reduced by using lower volts, would a properly rated lower voltage wallwart work to do this? Link to comment
buck_wild81
I was also wondering about this. Bump? Link to comment
MeepNand
They are on par flow-wise with an mp10. Link to comment
CrazyEyes
A 25 should be enough for a 29g. I also think the new controllers are speed controlled. Link to comment
csmith
It is waaaaay too much. They don't dial down well as they tend to just stop if the voltage goes too low. I have mine dialed down with a potentiometer on the signal line as far as it will still run and it still makes bare spots on the sand, even with the pump pointed up towards the surface to dampen the flow some. I haven't heard of anyone getting the new speed controlled controllers yet. Even then, nobody knows how low the low setting will be. --C Link to comment
reefer4eva
You can get a universal power supply from amazon for like 10 bucks to lower the voltage which in turn will dial down the speed ► 2:10► 2:10 www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVQYGHXAIxs Jun 12, 2013 - Uploaded by Max Zak ... profile image; Flag for spam; Block User; Unblock User. ironman2373 2 days ago. th64
I think it should be fine with a universal power supply and slowed down to 15v I believe is the lowest you can go Link to comment
