DIY auto water change

I had this idea for an auto water change machine and was wanting some feedback I have a reefkeeper and I was thinking of using a float valve under the water level that float valve would be attached to a toms aqualifter in a 5g bucket of saltwater there would be a second pump that would go out the window 2 times daily that pump would run for 15 min for a total of 1.5g a day
