Fnard Posted January 16, 2013 Share Posted January 16, 2013 Thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis long! Seriously, once it purigen starts getting discolored, heading to brown, then you know it is time to recharge. I normally will change my CPE every 4-6 months. Depends on test results. Link to comment

flypenfly Posted January 16, 2013 Share Posted January 16, 2013 Make sure it's worth your time and effort. Bulk Purigen in The Bag is really relatively cheap. I'd rather have peace of mind that I didn't screw up the bleaching or did something stupid and forget a step as I'm oft to do. An extra $5-10 every few months is worth it to me to not bother with bleach. Link to comment
