Levels of Calcium, Alk, Mag, etc. in Reef Crystals?

I was reading a couple articles on the levels of Calcium, Alk, Mag etc. in salt mixes and many of them including Reef Crytals had lower levels of things like Calcium, Alk, Mag than is recommended in a mixed reef tank?

Is this true or am I reading these articles incorrectly?

Do folks dose their water before adding it to deal with this?

Thanks

I just saw this on another forum indicating that Reef Crystals is

Calc. 420

Alk. 12

Mag.1260

Are these correct. I saw a different post suggesting they were lower.

All my reading says alk should be ideal around 10, and minimum of 8. Doing a water change today will test the IO reef crystals before I change the water.

tested 3 times all test were consistent, came out with 580, 560, 560, I think I counted a drop wrong the first time

I was wondering if the ca is high because the KH is too low, they buffer each other I understand.

I’m getting an ethos ca and ph kit next week I will retest with those when I get them.
