Fishnewbie27
Ok guys going to do a DIY tank. Plan is a 30 by 30 cube AIO that is 12 inches deep. The false wall will take up the back 6 inches so display will be 30 by 24. Back part will be 6 by 30 with baffles ( false wall and baffles will be done in glass). My only problem is can't get a solid answer for the thickness of glass. Will 1/4 glass do the job do I need to euro brace it? Thanks Link to comment

PicO Aquariums
You may find strips of glass that small to be more expensive then you think because they need to be hand polished and beveled not machined. Also it will kinda take away from the rimless look a bit. Depending on your cost difference between the two 3/8" may be the better choice even if a bit more still. 2-3" yes but if the difference is not much spend the money to go 3/8" it is after all the foundation of your build. PicO Aquariums
I like my trusty old Dow 795 but RTV 103 is another good pick Link to comment

disaster999
you can skip the brace if your using 3/8" class. your tank is only 12" high Link to comment
