rkum19
Hello Nano-reefers,I decided to downgrade to a Nuvo 16 gallon AIO from my 29 biocube. Wanted to try something smaller and to take a bite at a rectangular tank. Good thing about downgrading is that now my tanks look fulls, but as we all know there can never be to much corals Empty Nuvo 16 12/22/12Day after migration 12/23/121/31/13 SpecsTank- Innovatimve Marine Nuvo 16 gallonLighting- 2x Kessil A150W 15K LEDFiltration- 16lbs live rocks and live sand-1 x Chemipure Elite- 2 x Purigen- filter flossHeater -Aqueon Pro 100 Watt Submersible heaterWater -RO\DI filtered water mixed with instant ocean saltCorals!! to be added later !!!CUC!! to be added later !!Fish!! to be added later !! Nepenthe
Yup, and the fuge. They make a huge difference. Pick them up if you haven't already. Link to comment
rkum19
Are two kessil's over a nuvo 16 overkill? I keep them 10" above the water. Running two a150w 15k. Link to comment
JCG66
Doubt it but as always just keep an eye on your corals Link to comment
rkum19
Had a tank crash from the move. Lost alot of my sps and most of my zoas are closed up. My LPS's are looking ok, but not as puffy as they use to. I ended up doing everything over. I took out everything and cleaned out the sand and rescapped the rocks and everthing. I'm sure im going to be going through a mini cycle. I think the sand might have brought over alot of dead stuff/ammonia. Will post pics later. Link to comment

nimavafi
Tank looks great! What are you using to attach that monti to the back wall? It looks like a suction cup but I am not sure. I feel for you man. I had a "crash" when I moved as well - only it wasn't biological, it was my Nuvo's back panel chambers separating from the glass at the silicone (during a water change...). I guess they all had this problem in early manufacturing. 2 free Nuvo's (UPS broke one) later everything is up and running and much better constructed. But it did notice that they now cover glass back entirely which messed up my plans on converting a chamber into a fuge and shining light through the back instead of over the top (like the jbj nano-glo). This thread has been in General Discussion for over a month and it has cycled in General Discussion for over a month creating alot of benificial bacteria. My threads beneficial bacteria has been established and I can finally add comments/posts. Besides I don't want too. 1 Link to comment

To attach my monti I got some old frag racks and old magnet scrappers. Got some super glue gel and glued it together, then glued my monti to it. Sad part is that the bottom where I glued to monti in that area it died off, but its slowly growing back. Link to comment
