Nice looking store dude. I have always wanted to open one but in Miami there is too much competition and cheapos lol. I used to work at a local store and it never ceased to amaze me at how many people wanted everything basically buy one, get one or at a big discount.

Your store looks beautiful! I work at an LFS and I do wonder, was there any reason you chose to use a blue background in your stock tanks? We have black in ours, and once you do get your place up and running, stocked with fish, ect. I kind of have a feeling you'll regret it. Black hides algae much better than blue. The only tank we have blue is our seahorse display, and the way the LR is set up its hard to get to the smudges. Make sure you hire the real hobbiest, and look for the young wide-eyed kids and TEACH THEM!!! My current boss actually hooked me up with my first tank and corals when I was only 12, and I've been HOOKED ever since. All through highschool I was a lot more available to work at a store and actually know what I'm talking about because I was really trained by him (and RC...lol) for years beforehand. From what I've seen, its hard to find good employees. You'll have plenty of older people interested in working, but not being able to because they work at Progressive or something. Train. The. Kids! lol

I wish you the best of luck! Please keep us posted with updates!

You're in Texas, huh? Next time I visit my cousins I am so checking this out.

Wait, I can't find an address, or even a city. Up with the names!

I know I asked a few months back but do you have any plans on selling online or doing online orders? I'd love to support a member here and one that keeps good stuff in stock and knows what they are doing and has a passion in the hobby.

lol ill take it as a compliment. The tanks ARE up and running, have been for months lol. I guess now you can realize and appreciate just how clean I keep it. Casco uses blue acrylic for their " lifetime guarantee" tanks. black hides algae, blue keeps you honest
