Fluval Spec V Lighting

I have set up a Fluval Spec V aquarium for my girlfriend and I am looking to upgrade the stock lights. I'm not sure if I should get the RapidLED 6 LED retro-fit kit or if I should just get a par bulb and slant it towards the tank as to cover the entire tank. I would only use probably 3 or 4 of the LEDs since I don't want to nuke anything but I would like to get some opinions on lights.

im running two ecoxotic panorama pro's both are white and blue. Its enough to support my sps growth rate and clams and not fry the softies and goni pora. Im thinking of upgrading to a Radion pro when it comes out tho...I prefer having more control over things.
