Nate17
Looking to set up a Fluval Spec V (no sump) for a school project next year and since it will be at school, I will definitely need some sort of auto top off system. I sent Avast Marine Works an email asking if theirs would work well with the tank and they got back to me with "The ATO would work, just make sure to get the nano mount." Theirs tops off when the water goes down 1/2", which seems a bit much for a small tank so I'm not too sure. What ATO system would you guys recommend for this tank? Any help would be appreciated Link to comment
Salty_Snack
Specteapure uplc-ii. With that size tank it may be one of the only ones that works well if you want to mount the sensor in the overflow. Link to comment
Nano sapiens
You could just do a simple 'Pet Bottle' ATO. Link to comment
Monsieur Kam
You could just do a simple 'Pet Bottle' ATO. Gravity fed ATO is a good idea for a tiny tank Link to comment
Nate17
The spectrapure is pretty expensive :/ would a double float switch system work like one from autotopoff.com? Are those able to be set to sense a small change in water level? I've seen some cheap tunze ato's on eBay, would that work well? Link to comment
