St.Pete_Reefer Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 99 dollar JBJ 28 gallon CF quad at marine depot is a crazy insane price Why is that tank so expensive from the start?
Lawnman Posted November 22, 2012 Author Posted November 22, 2012 AIO's are pricey because everything included. First time reefers want a plug and play because they don't understand how to purchase all the things to start a reef.

dday80 Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Anyone know of a deal for the Ecotech Radion LED's?
HVani Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 None of ecotech's products are allowed to be discounted so you won't find any on sale
malady Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 http://reefbuilders.com/2012/11/21/black-f...ist/#more-65618
MedRed Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 None of ecotech's products are allowed to be discounted so you won't find any on sale They can be discounted, they just can't be advertised below whatever Ecotech sets as their minimum allowed advertising price. Retailers can sell them for $1 if they want to as long as that price isn't advertised.
initial_reefer Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 any other deals ? Think anywhere would pricematch the JBJ 28 like Big als or Smith and fosters

St.Pete_Reefer Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 yes you can use stock lighting Wow great deal
Lawnman Posted November 23, 2012 Author Posted November 23, 2012 Yes the CF quad will keep all kinds of softies and LPS corals. Tons of people have that tank. I like Biocubes more than JBJ but that is just me.

clabern Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 Ha - I attempted to get one of the JBJ 8gal's that MarineDepot did, no luck at all. Was calling from 12:45PST and didn't get through till 1:10. Guess I'm off to finding another small nano AIO now.
