RayWhisperer Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 Well, now who wouldn't want that? LOL j/k Seriously though, I don't know how many participants you'll get with just Gigs and Haddons. Being this is a nano forum, I'd imagine most tend to stay with smaller nems. I do plan on setting up a large cube with just a Haddoni and a pair of saddlebacks. However, that may be postponed for a long time to come due to job uncertainties.
DaJMasta Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 According to the title, haddonis are out - heteractis magnifica and stichodactyla gigantea are pretty specfic - and gigantea is less common than haddoni (though more common than mertensii if you're looking for carpet nems). I've got a haddoni in my system with a pair of ocellaris clowns. It's not staying where I want it to (and is fully shading a monti frag right now) and the tank isn't clean... but if I get around to fixing that I can snap a picture.
Bill Nye Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 Carpet anemones are scary monsters that eat all your fish and sting your corals . A LFS has a huge carpet (not sure which species im guessing had) which takes up a whole holding tank. I would say its close to 2+ feet across. A lone brave Clarkii makes his home in there with his buddy.
