Chew_Magna
I was at the other LPS the other day and I was talking to their fish guy about some odd growth on some rock. I bought some snails off him and I just noticed that one has some of the growth on it as well. It looks like algae at first until you notice that it has "heads" on it. He had no clue what it was. Any guesses here? Link to comment

Chew_Magna
Cool beans. I'll make sure to stop at the other LFS tomorrow and talk to the guy about it. Link to comment
lakshwadeep
If it starts branching, it might be a Pocillopora. They have been known to breed in captive tanks (due to "self-brooding" which doesn't require external fertilization). Link to comment
