Whys
Pat, want me to add this thread to the Jarquarium Challenge showcase? Seems worthwhile. Link to comment
patback
Forgot about this honestly. So... About a week ago I checked up on it. Still, nothing melted. The aiptasia was still kickin but had very skinny tentacles. The zoas we're still full bodied and didn't feel hollow or anything, but that red "skin" had completely enveloped them. It was NOT cyano. It has almost like it had roots in the polyps and wouldn't let go when shaken or blown off. The water was also officially yellow, so I decided to dump it all in the toilet.Guess what? The zoas encrusted to the bottom of the bowl! That means it actually grew somewhat, even in the least favorable conditions. I officially closed this project somewhere around the 60-70 day mark.
