spipedong
I would love to check out some of the older ones, but they can't be seen anymore. Do you guys know how to take screen shots and upload them? On my computer there is a little button above the "backspace" button, and it says "PrtScr" (sometimes its on the right-side number pad). If you click that, then open up microsoft paint, then go to edit, and click paste it will make an image of what you were seeing on the computer when you hit the button. Save it, and then upload that like you would upload any other picture here on NR. That way we will all be able to laugh at them, even when the CL posting has expired! If it's a long ad, it may take a couple screenshots to fit the whole ad. Just take both shots and post them back to back and you'll get the whole thing. Also, if you're a pedantic hipster with a mac, hit command + shift + 4 and highlight the region you want to take a screenshot of. It will save a .png file to your desktop. Rinse and repeat. EyeCandyExtreame
Found this today. A little overpriced IMO, but I'm a newbie and don't know prices. http://fortmyers.craigslist.org/lee/pet/3266058877.html Link to comment
godfathernikki
Found this today. A little overpriced IMO, but I'm a newbie and don't know prices. http://fortmyers.craigslist.org/lee/pet/3266058877.html I'd pass. You can get a new 5 gal for $5-$10, the yellow tail is probably around $5, shrooms are cheap probably free to $10 depending on where you get them, the snail is a couple bucks, a new hob filter around 30. The sand and small amount of live rock is probably somewhere around $30. I don't recognize that lamp so maybe someone can correct me, but it doesn't look like anything special. Not including the lamp and being generous on the pricing, you are looking at about $90 for a NEW similar setup. Depending on what it is, I've found on average that used gear is worth about half of what you pay new, imo this setup is worth around $50 without the mystery lamp. Unless that is a $150 lamp you should be able to get it for much much less. Link to comment
