Probably getting a few different color monti cap frags to put in there

then just about done other than a feature fish/invert...

Then we'll just sit back and see where it goes(grows?)

Enjoy!!

Wooooowwww....... I am seriously in love with this tank even more now!! Please post your maintenance routine; I'm so curious!

Lol...thanks!!

My routine is really quite simple.

For cleaning I do the following once a week;

Clean the glass with a toothbrush

Change filter floss

1 gallon water change(sometimes a little more than a gallon)

As far as feeding goes,2-3 times a week I put several drops

of reef snow, zooplankton or oysterfeast(I alternate these).

I also drop a few pellets in or hand feed meaty frozen foods

to the nassarius snail.

That's about it...lol

I'm hoping I can keep these "simple" SPS pieces sustained in

There...they are all found in lagoon settings and really add

some nice texture.

The only other addition(s) would be an acan or two and a feature

fish/invert.

I really am trying to keep this as simple as possible.

Man, you've got that thing packed with some really nice corals. Nice work.

Thanks!

You're mantis/pest tank is awesome!

Following this shiz.

I like what you've done with the place (meaning modding that tank).

Thanks...enjoy...

I know I am,so far!

Anyone have experience with the blackbelly pygmy goby?

I'm thinking about getting 1-3 of them for this tank...

A relatively local shop has 3 for sale.

Added this guy to the tank today.

Acanthastraea Echinata

Have been looking for these for a while...want to put a few more in the tank

but having no luck finding acans locally.

Thanks for posting your maintenance schedule for me. :) It actually sounds surprisingly easy!

No problem...I'm trying to keep it as simple as possible.

So far,it's working(knock on wood).

I don't mind feeding, but would rather not fool with dosing trace elements, calc, etc

in such a small tank.

That's why the Monti's are in there on a "trial basis" till the livestock deadline...lol

Very neat little tank :)

watch your zoas, may end up growing up the water fall area, I had some grow up an old HOB filter once, the water trickling over them was enough to keep them wet and happy :)

Added a few more zoas...placed 2 of the digis.

Also added a few ricordia down front.

Got a decent birds nest frag I'm trying out now...

If it likes it in here,it will be the "centerpiece" on

top of the main rock in the middle.

A bunch of pics...

Acclimating some monti caps at the moment.

Been playing around with placement of some stuff on the right side/corner...

Let me know what you think...

your tank looks incredible!

Thanks!!

I'm just trying to bring my "vision" to life and having fun with it.

Wow this tank is really awesome all you need is some fiddler crabs.

Lol...I really would love a fiddler crab or two in there!

I'm afraid they wouldn't be IN the tank for very long though...

Too easy for them to escape.

Thanks for the compliment!

This tank is awesome! Have you thought about growing zoas or something where the water goes over the rocks? :)

Thank you!

I actually planted the ochtodes near the water line with that in mind.

It is growing up the deeper crevices...

I just placed some fruitloops(zoas) high in the right corner.

Maybe I'll try some in the little stream at the top right edge

and see what happens.

Anyone think acans(lords) would be too big in here?

Was thinking about putting some down front/center(ish)...
