Those tentacles can reach 8 to 12 inches as I have read. Anything within reach can and most likely will get stung without any hesitation. Some folks have said they haven't had any problems. I had the unfortunate experience of losing one of my favorite zoas. Link to comment
DaJMasta Posted March 30, 2012 Share Posted March 30, 2012 The sweepers on my frag are in the neighborhood of 3-4", not the longest LPS sweeper that I've seen, but no where near a foot long. If you're watching, you can see for yourself once its added and figure out if it needs more space. My guess is that a small frag wouldn't get any sweepers that are too long, but there is certainly a risk. It's always a gamble on LPS with sweepers in a nano tank, but generally things seem to work out. Link to comment
