mannaize
So it's been a while since I have worked on my jbj 12 G project but I am starting it back But I forgot an idea I had so long ago. Since I have such a small tank I want as much room as possible. So therefore I don't want to make a overflow. Can I run two (because I have two holes) pvc pipes from the holes to the height of water needed in the tank. So from the gravity water will run down the pipes. Then I will put a screen over the pipes so no snails or anything hours down them. Why do I want to do this? So I can stack rocks up against the pipes to hide them. Plus I can grow corals I'm the pipes. Then the fish can swim between them. It's to gain room in my small tank. In a over flow the pipes rise up half the height of the overflow. Water falls down into the over flow and hours into the pipes, but water acculmates above the pipes a couple inches right? So will My idea work? Link to comment
