I highly doubt that light would support growth. It would just be wasted $$$. Best options are a 10w submersible pond light or the JBJ nano Glo for $60.

 

You might DIY something from homedepot and somehow attach it to the window in the back of your BC.

 

PM me if your interested in the submersible 10w. I have a new one I would sell cheap, but not for $13 w/shipping.

i think that light is more splash proof than waterproof.
