Yea. I would add 5% to both every week or 2 until you have the intensity you are looking for.

 

What Percentage do you think is optimal for growth and color ? I haven't really done to much research on lighting intensities.

It really depends on the lights and the size of the tank. You could technically put them at 100%, which would give you the best growth, but you might lack in color. So just play around with it until your happy. I would think for the best color and growth I would work my way to 100% blues and 60-80% whites

Update : i got my first clam . i bought it from a local reefer he says it was a maxima but i'm pretty sure its a crocea.. ill post pictures up soon!

Update: thanks longpig for my second clam. i got a 5" crocea clam to go along with my smaller clam.

Had a couple of rough weeks with the tank. almost lost 2 colonies due to an unknown reason. parameters are are pretty good. my cal and mag need to increase a little bit. as of today cal 380 mag 1160 alk 9.3
