Aluminum Frame for net top safe or do I need to paint them?

I tried one in the aluminum/silver color, and it has started to turn colors quite a bit. I'm not sure if it's oxidizing or what, but I would recommend using the one that comes in black.

If it's bare aluminum, salt water will corrode it. If it's annodized, you'll be ok.

Where did you get the netted top? I'm trying to replace my glass cover with a netted one and i can't seem to find them anywhere

people in the classifieds sections usually sell it, although i've seen links to websites with it by the square foot.

BRS sales the clear stuff. I have tried the black fberglass stuff from the local lumber store but it diffused to much light.
