mnjlp27
I have a 30 gallon tank set up now with some live rock (8 lbs. fiji), a few fish and a CBS. I intended to add rock slowly and to upgrade the lights and turn this into a reef aquarium, but do to serious downsizing of my finances this last year I have had to rethink my tank options. I REALLY what some corals. Nothing fancy but I really like polyps and zoo's. Here is what I am building now. I have a 5.5 gallon aga, with 46 watts of 1000k and actinic 03 mixed. I also converted my skilter into a fuge. (wich has it's own 13watt 6500k) I want to keep my shrimp and oceleris clown fish (he is real small), is this going to be ok? I am also wondering what some good beginner corals would be for a 5.5 gallon and the lighting I have. And insight or idea's would be appreciated. Link to comment
Aiptasia
Soft corals and deep water LPS corals should do o.k. Leathers, mushrooms, xenia, star polyps, etc.. Some species of zooanthus would also be o.k. Link to comment
mnjlp27
What about the oscilerus clown fish and the coral banded shrimp, could they both go in a 5.5 gallon as well? Link to comment
