MooseBranch Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Not sure what this is but I counted 5 of them around my tank. They are tiny. Tank is only 3 days old. Thanks
Fluffeh Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 unleash the peppermint shrimps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
JoelRHale Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 I wish my peppermint shrimp worked like they are suppose to. Mine don't touch aiptasia and eat fish.
tiggs Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 http://www.marinedepot.com/Chem_Marin_Stop...IADAFLC-vi.html EASILY, the best product I've ever used in aptasia removal. Works wonders and completely safe.
Mojorizn Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 I dunno, tentacles look a little thick ... Majano possibly? Assuming ya wanna get rid of it: SuperGlue gel is your friend here. Glue it in it's hole. Or if ya don't have any Superglue .... remove the rock and use regular table salt ... just a spoonful on it .... give it 5-10 minutes .... rinse the rock very well with removed tank water .... put the rock back. Super simple and effective.
MooseBranch Posted February 14, 2012 Author Posted February 14, 2012 Spot flame treatments(not much collateral damage) and super glue gel. Hopefully I got em. My rock is extremely porous, so its difficult spotting everything.
MooseBranch Posted February 16, 2012 Author Posted February 16, 2012 Does anyone know if a cycling tank(ammonia) will kill them?
