vash028
So im looking to pick up an RO/DI unit and an ATO for my tank so i dont have to worry about it as much but im not sure which to get so tell me what you think of this guy and any suggestion http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/brs-5-stage-plus-ro-di-system-75gpd.html Link to comment
jedimasterben
No BRS - Spectrapure. http://www.spectrapure.com/ Link to comment
vash028
I keep hearing about them but from what I have heard is that the BRS are very nice and I have actually heard of them. And what's the price difference on the membrane and with a TDS meter attached. Link to comment
jedimasterben
According to AZDesertrat, BRS doesn't quite have their stuff together just yet when it comes to RO/DI, and the Spectrapure unit has much better equipment to start off with. Link to comment
vash028
Only thing I don't like is Spectras prices there high Link to comment

vash028
Gonna think about what RO I'd like but in the mean time also want to think about adding some new fish. I think my tailspot might have gotten lost when rescaped the tank also looking to get a smaller tang would like a nice swimmer also thinking of adding an angle like a single rusty or flame or coral beauty. indyjaco
The spectrapure also includes a tested membrane (98%+ rejection) so less DI usage. I have standard dow 75 GPD membrane and I get about 96.5% rejection with my Air Water and Ice setup. Link to comment
vash028
Leaning on a Midas blenny to replace my tailspot and a Kole tang. Link to comment
vash028
Got a new addition to the tank today. So pumped been wanting this guy since I got into the hobby. Link to comment
jlbzixxer
love flame angels my like acans, but besides that she was a well behave citizen Link to comment
jedimasterben
Kole tangs are beautiful and one of my two favorite tangs, the other is the powder brown tang. The powder brown is super passive (should either be the only tang or the first tang, and don't keep with any aggressive tangs like the powder blue) and are beautiful. Link to comment
vash028
Ya i like them but its going to be in a 75 gallon thats why im leaning Kole they stay smaller around 7" Link to comment
jedimasterben
The kole will be around 5", a powder brown gets about that, as well. Link to comment
vash028
I gotcha ya I like the kole even more Link to comment
vash028
And I want plenty of swimming room. Link to comment
vash028
Well today i should be adding a midas blenny and a cleaner wrasse to the tank woot. Link to comment
jedimasterben
Make sure the wrasse is eating prepared foods before buying it (preferably a variety of foods). In the wild, they eat nothing but parasites off of other fish, so if they're fresh caught, there is a very low chance of it surviving. Link to comment
vash028
Ya I read that might also do a melanarious wrasse Link to comment
vash028
We'll I got the cleaner wrasse TR and nothing else the Midas wasn't yellowd at all so was going to give it a few days. Also what do u think about a Midas blenny and a long nosed hawkish in the75 gallon? Link to comment

vash028
Quick look at the WP-40 well first off its strong my 75 is a little 2 small for this thing but i have a variable power supply coming from fishstore.com the place i bought the pump at and all together i have $137 for it all so way cheaper than an ecptech. At first it was a little loud but after a few weeks has quited down. I will get back to you guys with what its like with a variable power supply and a little video but so far 2 thumbs up its a great price and makes nice waves and is cheap. Link to comment
