Lokko21
Hi Guys 3 months ago I didn't know nothing about Saltwater fish at all, until my daughters asked me to get them a Beta fish, so we went to LFS and fell in love with some Clowns, that's when it all started, I did a lot of reading and research, until now I don't know much but I'm trying my best, long story short I started a thread in the beginners section, I tried to move it but I couldn't , so i decide to make a new thread here, I'll try to update this thread asap. http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=286984 Wave Action: Link to comment

Chyendra
I'm a fan of the cube... what dimensions are your tank? Make sure you acclimate your corals to the new lights by either using a dimmer, raising your light up high and gradually lowering it, or using window screen in layers to block some light. It's easy to bleach corals with too much light and don't be surprised if it takes a several weeks (it's taken me 3 months sometimes) to acclimate corals to more light without losing anything to bleaching. Overall, it looks like you have a nice system set-up. What are you using to maintain calcium and alkalinity now that you have SPS corals? Link to comment

I love cubes too, My tank is 24x24x20, actually I set my light at 45% brightness then I'm going to increase it by 5 every week, I hope my corals like it, about the dosing, I'm using this, E.S.V. B-Ionic 2-Part Calcium Buffer, so far good but I just started to dose like a week ago, so tomorrow I'm going to use my Hanna's to test my water, I'll post a picture with the new light, I hope I get it right. Thanks I love my Gobies and Blennys, they all get along very good no fighting at all, the only ones that don't come out much it's the Yashas, they just swim few inches away from their cave, but the rest they wonder all around, which I love. Ay caramba! Lokko, you sure did your homework! That thing is beautiful. Thank you kind sir, a lot of reading and time, but I loving the way everyone and everything it's doing there, thanks again.
