Mini-S, where to drill?

I just ordered the tank this morning, it will be new tanks for my current 2.5g reef. I want to keep that super clean ADA look and have nothing on the rim of the tank. To do so, i'd like to use this overflow: http://www.glass-holes.com/Nano-Complete-Kit-gh200kit.htm and return: http://www.glass-holes.com/1-2-Inch-Return-Kit-return50.htm

Obviously i'm pretty worried about comprimising the integrity of the glass as it's only 5mm thick. I'd like to have the overflow in the left corner, with the return beneath it. Can i do it this way? If not, where would i drill for maximum strength?

I realize it may just come down to going over the glass, but i'd like to avoid that if at all possible. Thanks in advance!

Ugh folks. Google is your friend.

here are the minimum requirements in regards to distance for drilling glass

x = 1.5 t

y = 4 t

t = glass thickness

measurements are taken from the outer most edge of the hole closest to the edge of the glass.

single hole along side: x from edge

single hole near corner: x from first edge, y from second edge

holes next to each other: x from edge, 4t apart

holes next to each other next to edge: x from first edge, 4t apart, y from second edge

do not attempt to drill tempered glass

Thanks. Just what I needed. Guess I has the wrong google searches.

Man that overflow box is going to be huge in that tiny tank

I know, but I haven't found anything lower profile that won't go over the glass. I'd love to hear any ideas!
