Posted February 12, 2012 Share Posted February 12, 2012 carbon is a debated topic in planted tanks. imo if the tank is moderately planted then carbon is fine. many people have had success keeping carbon around, and having their plants flourish. carbon cleans up FW real well. same as the concept in Reef.
