MikeTR
yeah, ran 75ft of it through the attic from the garage so I don't ever have to carry water into the house. 1 Quote Link to comment
metrokat
The wall behind the tank has the fish bathroom on the other side. I've been wondering if a small opening for the ATO tubing into the sump would automate or ease zome part of my maintenance, but I think I would much rather manually fill the reservoir. MikeTR
yeah, i manually fill the 5g jug that the line runs to, but i just have to open a ball valve from the 100g reservoir every couple days to refill it. 1 Quote Link to comment
metrokat
It would be neat if I could rig up a water change system though. Beats carrying buckets. Especially now when my waterchages have to be nearly double in volume with a bigger tank. 1 Quote Link to comment
metrokat
Do those plant Dolly's work for 5g water buckets? The bucket dolly looks too bulky Quote Link to comment
MikeTR
Automatic water changer.. toss out some surplus hair supplies and hook'er up under the sink.. run 2 - 1/4" lines to the tank. Quote Link to comment

Currently building one and I already know this is going to result in more water changes, I'm freaking sick of doing squats with 5 gallon buckets. Quote Link to comment

I have 3 of the rubbermaid brute dollys on the ready for the tank transfer. But they don't work long term for water changes. Far too huge., The footprint itself if 24 inches+ Waiting............
