on the bright side i added some coral into this tank from the frag tank.

4" green slimer frag

2" blue gomezi frag

1.5" myagi tort frag

my pink mille colony (i hope it makes it, it bleached out completely)

1.5" saramentosa frag (i found it underneath the frag rack in the frag tank so it's clinging to life.

3" formosa frag.

6 headed hammer coral.

pics when everything is settled.

Oh crap! You're going to have to inspect inspect inspect for a few months. What are you dipping in?

i dipped them in revive 1cap/500mL tank water (a bit of an overdose, but that's the concentration i always dip at).

from what i could tell the nudi's died. and yeah i'll be checking often until they're all symptoms are gone.

i inspected and used a small syringe to blast every inch of the colony rock. i'm not exactly sure what the eggs look like so i'll have to google that.

but they're actually starting to open again!

Thinking of getting some Berghia nudis to get my Aptasia under control. They just keep popping up no matter how many I seem to superglue, blast with boiling water, inject lemon juice.

Plus my Crocea clam in the frag tank is covered in them and I want that clam back in the 65.

Any body have any? Or know a good place to order them from?

Fuuuu...seems to be pandemic now.

FWE works well, and I have added it to my dipping regimen. NOTHING kills the eggs, and they have a long cycle (10-14 days).

There is a good description of my issues with these on my thread and elsewhere.

I am all about dipping and weekly 2-4 hour long FWE treatments (pull carbon first).

Like Kat said, inspection is important. Manual removal very important, but the little ####ers ingest the fluorescence of the polyps and perfectly camouflaged. Using a blue light at night when colonies have retracted works very well...easy to spot and remove with tweezers.

GOOD LUCK!

thinking of moving the mp10s up vertically and cranking them to 70%...

it seems as though even with 4 i get a very delicate but very random flow.

i'll have to tinker with it when i get home next week.

They're all synced together, right?

as far as i can tell.

i know i have a master and slave. then 2 turquoise pumps on the back wall. (which i can control the intensity of).

flow is good overall but i think my sps need more..
