Glad to see things looking so nice in the tank. Each pic of those bubble tips looks better than the last. And still love that elegance!!

Thank you! And I should dig up some old photos of the bubble tips. Man were they pale. Haha but the elegance is still my eye catcher. Just wish I could get it to extend a bit more.

It still looks good man. I'm glad you are getting the algae on the glass. Your system is maturing and good things are happening.

Look into your focus points, if general shots, lock em all up, if doing a close up on a coral, use single focus points!

i think that's what i was using. but i'll dabble in the other settings to see how they relate.

through a little birdie i heard i'm getting my own nikon for my college graduation/birthday which happen to be on the same day. :scarry:

right now i'm leaning towards what my parents have (Nikon D300s), but the body wouldn't come with a lens. so i'd have to pick one out... i'm debating on getting a performance lens, since i have a 40mm macro already.

any suggestions? i'm moving to Boise, so i'd love to get a wide angle lens that would be good for landscape shots, but at the same time i really want a performance lens to take athletic pictures or a 105mm macro....

any advice?

Why thank you! I can't wait till my tank starts to mature a bit. Looks like yours is well on its way. The coralline is what I can't wait for. Looking at white rocks is no fun. Your myagi tort is starting to look nice! It's on my list of stuff I still have to pick up.

the corraline took forever in this tank, which i think was the biggest sign showing problems.. hah but now it's going nuts!

and i have a 1" mygai tort in the frag tank. i can grow it out for a bit and send it , and some other sps to yah if you want. (i'm trying to get rid of it al before i tear the tank down.)
