Good customer service is hard to find in the hobby I've found. <_<

Hopefully CAD comes through.

Have you considered a custom build?

Thanks bro.

I'm not sure what it is about this hobby that seems to attract flaky people...and turtle juggalos.

By custom you mean DIY or a custom build from the mfg?

Cause I was going to call Eddie about a custom Artisan.

Either or, seems like you have the budget to pay someone else to do it professionally but if you're handy (I'm not) you could save some money.

And tell me about it, not naming names, but I've tried to buy from a few site sponsors here and practically told them to:

And it's just like doing business isn't their business. Unreplied PMs, replies that show they obviously didn't read one word of my PM, contact through their site, nothing.

Sometimes my exact sentiment.

It's like I'm dealing with gnomes.

1. My Money

2. ????

3. Profit

I'll probably just try to get a good price on a build from Eddie.

I don't trust my glass box DIY skills enough for ~ 35g rimless.

It doesn't look terribly difficult but I have 0 XP in that dept.

I hope you get a hold of Frank soon or able to get a good deal from CADlight. I'm starting to consider building my own tank as I can get Starphire glass(3 sides) for cheaper than the 75-P. Unless they've jacked up prices too.

Good luck with finding a tank bro. If you ever get a hold of Frank, let him know that there's a guy trying to get a tank too!!

Appreciated. I may hit Frank up once more, as a courtesy.

It would be cheaper than the CADlight, but it's getting ridic.

I might make two calls tomorrow and be like, "Yo! Who wants it?"

See what's really good.

:D

Sounds good! Can't wait to see what you get.

Thanks.

My OG quote from CADlights was for a 26"x18"x18" (36.5g)

Now I'm thinking maybe ~ 26"x20"x16" (36g)

Funky dims boogie down na.

Those are pretty funky dims. :D

I just estimated how much it would cost to build a tank same size as the 75-P and the glass itself was about $400 shipped. This is 3/8" thick starphire all around and just plain glass for the bottom. I'm debating right now. Doesn't seem hard to build. Just don't want about 40 gallons of water and corals on the floor. :D

Pretty much where I'm at.

I put in an email to Eddie and Orlando (GLA) today.

Got a really comfortable shipping rate from O-dog.

Still waiting to hear back from CADlights on that 26" x 20" x 16" custom Artisan.

Things I can do until someone takes my cheddar, Bob:

Clean out area under sink to make room for RODI

I can also go ahead with some equip. and dry good orders.

Took advantage of MD's 25% off Jager heaters until X-mas.

I was able to pickup Calfo's book at 30% off w/ coupon code.

It was also the Deal of the Day too! I barely got free shipping.

;)

Just looked up that book, looks amazing. Might have to add it to the xmas wish list.

I got a stupid deal on it. About $28 off.

Should make a good coffee table book.

It's actually what made me order tonight.

Possibly going back East the 23-26 though.

She's actually a Cane Corso. Just had her 1 year in Nov.

That's a good lookin' Pit though, err...I mean, Terrier or whatever you have to call them legally here.

Dude.

That sounds like a straight Greystar property.

I used to live in Summit @ Flatirons last year.

Now ours is $200 up front (special) and $20/mo.
